Smoking Cessation:

I do not use aversion therapy for this treatment.  By this I mean we do not use ideas of dying or cigarettes tasting like slugs!!  Every smoker knows the dangers to their health!  This has not stopped you so far!  So why would aversion therapy work?   I actually focus on the benefits of quitting cigarettes and it works!  Having said that you do still need to want to give up.  I cannot make your subconscious take on ideas it is not wanting to hear.   You also need to book this appointment yourself as that is part of your commitment to give up.  As well meaning as your loved ones are in looking out for you this is one thing you need to want to do for success.  Hypnosis cannot give you the motivation to stop.  It can turn off the cravings to help you to quit.

  • after 72 hours  Breathing becomes easier. Energy levels increase.

  • after 5 days  Nicotine addiction for your body is over

  • after 2-12 weeks  Circulation starts to improve, walking becomes easier.

  • after 3-9 months  Coughing, shortness of breath and wheezing problems will improve.

  • after 1 year  Risk of a heart attack falls to about half that of a smoker.

  • after 10 years  Risk of lung cancer falls to about half that of a smoker.

  • after 15 years  Risk of heart attack falls to the same as someone who has never smoked.

How many sessions will I need?
Only one 90 minute session (approximately).   I do offer a back up session if required but the 90 minute session is all that most people need.  The back up session is included in the price and is available for up to 2 weeks after the first session.

Will I gain weight after giving up smoking?
This is a common thing to happen after giving up smoking.  However, the session does address this in the same way that it does the cravings for a cigarette. Something a nicotine patch cannot offer!!  We will discuss this in detail at our session as it is an important issue. You will leave the session understanding how smoking and not smoking affect you metabolism.

Will I feel anxious after the session?
No, definitely not.  You should leave feeling relaxed and confident.

Will I remember everything from the session?
Yes you will, every word that is said.
